Natalia Frolova graduated from the Leningrad State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire. She worked as an accompanist in the class of Ilya Musin.
Since 2003 she has taught at the chamber ensemble faculty of the St Petersburg Conservatoire. On numerous occasions she has given master-classes in Russia and abroad. She has collaborated with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of the St Petersburg Philharmonic. She has toured in Germany, Great Britain, Finland, Austria and the Netherlands.
She is avidly involved in composition. To date works include Autumn Dream for flute and piano and a fantasia for wind quintet and jazz trio on themes from the ballet The Nutcracker.
Together with various chamber ensembles she has been a diploma-recipient at international competitions in Moscow, St Petersburg and other towns and cities in Russia, Europe, America and Asia.
