Lilia Yakusheva was born in 1993 in Kursk. Graduated from the Kursk Georgy Sviridov College of Music (piano class of Valery Makarov), where she also studied composition. Began to take independent studies in organ from the age of fourteen at the Kursk Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God. In 2017 she entered the Moscow State Conservatory (organ class of Alexei Parshin). Performs concerts in Moscow, St Petersburg, Kursk, Vladimir, Yessentuki, Kazan, Kislovodsk, Smolensk, Kirov, Chelyabinsk, Ulyanovsk, Vitebsk, Donetsk and other towns and cities in recital and with ensembles. Has participated in the festivals A Musical Tribute to Johann Sebastian Bach (the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music), the Moscow International Organ Festival (the Moscow Conservatory) and the Frau Organ international festival (Chelyabinsk) among others. In May 2017 she performed a charitable concert in Gunsbach (France).
