Yekaterina Rostovskaya


Born in 1972 in Leningrad, she graduated from the Special Music School of the Leningrad Conservatory (1990) and from the Conservatory (1995), where she studied with Gleb Nikitin. She was awarded Diploma at the All-Russian Woodwind Competition in 1991.

Since 1993 she has been member of the Mariinsky Orchestra (second flute) and participated in the concerts, recordings, concert tours and stage productions under the direction of Valery Gergiev, Yuri Temirkanov, Neeme Järvi, Semyon Bychkov, James Conlon, Plácido Domingo, Christoph Eschenbach, Gianandrea Noseda, Tugan Sokhiev, Pierre Boulez and other conductors.
