Yekaterina Krapivina

Upcoming performances:
21 June 2024

Her free, vividly coloured lower register allows the singer to bring the contralto role of Polina to life naturally, without any obvious effort.

The role of the Tsar’s favourite Basmanov is entirely, so to speak, inexpressive. And so it was more gratifying to see and to hear how clear and impassioned Yekaterina Krapivina’s image came across.
