People’s Artist of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria

Mikhail Golikov is Artistic Director and Conductor of the Tauride Symphony Orchestra and Director of the Student Symphony Orchestra of the St Petersburg Conservatoire. He frequently appears with the St Petersburg State Philharmonic and the St Petersburg State Children’s and Youth Philharmonic among other ensembles.
In 2013 Mikhail Golikov founded the Tauride Cappella charitable and development foundation, the principal aim of which is to provide support to talented musicians and encourage projects aimed at the revival of Russian society’s cultural traditions.
Mikhail Golikov has been a prize-winner at All-Russian and international competitions. In 2013 at the major Symphony of the Caucuses project he was awarded the title of People’s Artist of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria.
